Head Coach of Nigeria’s U20 men’s national team, Ladan Bosso has expressed confidence in the Super Eagles to squeeze past Cameroon when they face off in the Round of 16 of the African Cup of Nations on Saturday.
The two neighbours will rekindle their age long rivalries at the Felix Houphouet-Boigny stadium in Abidjan by 9pm Nigerian time.
Bosso, who doubles as the President of Nigeria football coaches association believes the tie will showcase the richness in African football and culture just as he anticipate a positive outing for the Super Eagles.
“On behalf of the Nigerian coaches association, I want to believe that our team should carry the day,” Bosso told media.
“Nigeria and Cameroon are familiar foes, and any match that involves these two is usually a cracker because of the quality of players that both nations produces and making Africa proud.
“However, we are supporting the Super Eagles to go all out and get the job done so that they will not let the teaming fans down on Saturday when they face Cameroon again.”
