Akor Adams: Montpelier forward dreams Super Eagles call-up

Montpelier forward, Akor Adams is eyeing the Nigeria national team call-up following his impressive stats with his French Club.

Since joining from Norwegian side, Lillestrom, the striker has scored seven goals in ten games this season. While failing to hit the back of the net since November 2023.

Adams believes all players have their place and the Super Eagles is blessed with very good strikers at the moment.

The 24-year-old says his time will come at the appropriate time which he will grab.

“We all have our place and we are privileged to have so many good strikers and so many good players,” Adams was quoted by BBC. 

“So, when the time comes, I’ll take the opportunity. It’s a dream for every Nigerian kid, which I am one of.”

With 36 points from 30 games, Montpelier seat on the 12th position on tne French Ligue 1 table and will face Nantes in their next game on Friday, April 26.
