Nigeria midfielder Alex Iwobi expresses confidence in the national team’s ability to secure victory in their upcoming international friendly against Ghana on Friday, March 22, at the Grande Stade de Marrakech, Morocco.

“The Super Eagles will give our hundred percent and try to get a good result,” Iwobi affirmed in an interview with NFF TV.

The Black Stars posed a significant challenge for the Super Eagles during the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers, resulting in a 1-1 draw in Abuja. Despite this, Iwobi views the match as a rivalry game, emphasizing the historical closeness between the two nations.

Assuring fans of the team’s commitment, Iwobi pledges that the players will exert maximum effort to achieve a positive outcome in the encounter.

“It’s a game against one of our rivals, a nation that is close to us,” Iwobi stated.

In addition to the clash with Ghana, the Super Eagles are scheduled to face Mali in another friendly fixture at the Grande de Stade Marrakech on Tuesday, March 26.
