Chidozie Awaziem lauds Finidi George’s leadership skills ahead of Ghana test

Nigeria defender, Chidozie Awaziem has commended the national team interim head coach, Finidi George for his leadership skills in training.
The Super Eagles recently had their first training session in Morocco before they take on Ghana and Mali in a friendly encounters.
Awaziem who was part of the Eagles squad to the 2023 Africa Cup Of Nations (AFCON) in Ivory Coast said the team is focused on the tasks at hand.
He stated the players and the interim coach have great chemistry and the players are ready to work with him.
The defender is targeting a favourable outcome against perennial rivals, Black Stars and Mali.
“We just finished with the second training session and we are all focused with the friendlies games ahead,” Awaziem was quoted by NFF TV.
“We are all getting along with our coach (Finidi) and basically he knows everything and he has been part of us. I don;’t think it will be difficult for him.
“He has done amazingly well in his first training session and I believe we are going to have a good work with him.
“Honestly, we planning to have a good game against Ghana and we know the rivalry between Nigeria and Ghana, so we are prepared for the game. Football is not a game of fight but sports. We all want to fight for our country.”
Nigeria will take on Ghana on March 22, while the second friendly comes up against Mali on Tuesday, March 26.
