How much Antonio Rudiger’s signing is expected to cost Real Madrid

An insight into the true figures behind Antonio Rudiger’s imminent move to Real Madrid has been provided on Friday.

German international Rudiger is of course primed to put pen to paper on terms with Spanish heavyweights Real any day now, ahead of linking up with Carlo Ancelotti’s troops upon the expiration of his Chelsea contract in the summer.

Los Blancos are understood to have beaten out competition from all of Manchester United, Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain to strike a deal for the defender.

Amid ongoing praise for a fine piece of transfer work on the part of the board at the Bernabeu, though, just how much is Rudiger likely to set Real Madrid back?

Well, as alluded to above, a look into exactly that has been forthcoming over the last 24 hours.

The info comes by way of Spanish outlet Marca, who expect Rudiger to earn around €9 million-per-year in wages, after tax. On top of that, he will secure a further €2 million upon the close of each season, as a bonus for agreeing to make the move to the Spanish capital as a free agent.

Real’s layout, though, does not end there…

In addition, the former AS Roma standout is in line for an €8 million signing-on payment, on top of a further €15 million in commissions to his team of agents.

This, when taking tax into the equation, amounts to a sum of well over €60 million over the course of the next four years.

Shifting attentions back towards matters at Chelsea, an insight into one potential replacement for Rudiger in west London has too been provided on Friday.

As per a report from Spanish outlet La Razon, the Blues have identified Villarreal stalwart Pau Torres as a key target ahead of the summer, with a bid worth a sum in the region of €60 million being mulled over.
