Newly signed PSG forward Jennifer Echegini is excited on double ends ahead of this year’s Olympics in France.

The former Juventus players didn’t spend a season with the Old Ladies before putting pen to a three year deal with French side, PSG.

Ahead of her first game in France where she will be representing the Nigeria’s senior women’s national team at the Olympics, the former Florida State University (FSU) star is excited to be part of Super Falcons squad.

“I am really excited being part of such a big tournament is always a honour,” Echegini told NFF TV.

“Wearing the Nigeria crest is always a honour. Firstly grateful to be here. I am specially super excited to be part of such a big tournament.”

Nervous after completing her switch to PSG, Echegini is ready for the challenges ahead with the former French league winners.

“I am kind of nervous.” She continued. “Obviously a good team. I don’t really know what to expect but I am going to expect just the challenges. I am ready for the challenges.

“After this tournament, that is where I will be going and I am excited for that as well.” She concluded.

She will be making her Olympics debut with the nine time African champions against world champions Spain, Japan, and Brazil in Group C after her debut at the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup where the team reached the Round of 16.
