Nigeria star Francisca Mlumun Ordega has extended her impact off the pitch by donating a hand-pump borehole water system to her hometown community of Mbatiav in Gboko Local Government Area, Benue State.
The initiative brings vital relief to residents who have long faced challenges accessing clean and safe drinking water.
Reflecting on her gesture, Ordega shared her motivations with humility, emphasizing her commitment to supporting her community despite not having immense wealth:
“I have donated a borehole to my community in Mbatiav, Gboko Local Government Area of Benue State. If you’re familiar with this community, access to water has been a significant challenge. As a daughter of the soil, I had to step in. Gold I do not have nor silver, but the little I have I make sure it gets to the right places. God bless my heart.”
Through this act, Ordega continues to inspire, demonstrating that meaningful contributions come from generosity of spirit, not just financial might.
