Rumours: West Ham set to offer Leverkusen record deal to sign Victor Boniface

English Premier League side, West Ham United are preparing a club record deal to lure red-hot Nigerian striker, Victor Boniface from Bayer Leverkusen before the end of winter transfer window.
The Super Eagles forward has being under rehabilitation after undergoing a successful groin surgery and expected to be out for weeks.
Boniface has hit the ground running in Bundesliga since joining the club from Belgian side, Royal Union Saint Gilloise involving in double figure of goals which has earned him back to back Rookie Player of the Month.
According to sources close to London club, West Ham’s technical director Tim Steidten is pushing massively to bring the 23 year old forward to his team.
The Hammers are also preparing to drag Boniface’s services with other EPL rivals like Newcastle and Chelsea hence their desperation to offer him lucrative deal.
The duo of Michail Antonio and Danny Ings have failed to deliver goals for the club with both players losing form or battling with niggling injuries.
West Ham’s record signing is Sébastien Haller, whom they bought for €50million, and it is being claimed that they are prepared to break that figure for Boniface’s signature.
