Jennifer Echegini Brace Fires PSG into Women’s Coupe de France Semis

Nigeria forward Jennifer Echegini delivered a decisive performance as Paris Saint-Germain  secured a 2–1 victory over Dijon FCO to book a place in the semi-finals of the Women’s Coupe de France.

Echegini broke the deadlock in first-half stoppage time with a superbly struck free-kick, giving PSG the advantage after a closely contested opening period. Dijon responded early in the second half when Léa Declercq converted from the penalty spot to restore parity.

With the encounter heading towards a tense conclusion, the Nigerian international produced the decisive moment in the 87th minute, calmly finishing to complete her brace and send the Parisian side into the last four.

Managed by Paulo César, PSG navigated early pressure, injury setbacks to key players, and a resilient Dijon performance. England international goalkeeper Mary Earps also played a crucial role, making important saves to keep her side in contention throughout the match.

The victory sets up a semi-final showdown against Paris FC Féminines, as PSG continue their pursuit of domestic silverware, with Echegini emerging as the standout performer on the night.
