Manna: Napoli reach agreement with Juventus director – report
Napoli have reportedly reached a verbal settlement with Juventus’ Subsequent Gen sporting director Giovanni Manna over an appointment as a director on the Stadio Maradona.
In accordance with updates from Gianluca Di Marzio and Sky Sport Italia, Manna seems set to be appointed as sporting director at Napoli after talks with membership President Aurelio De Laurentiis over the previous couple of days.
It’s understood that if he’s to formally settle for Napoli’s provide, Manna will oversee the membership’s switch enterprise from this summer time onwards.
Napoli are set to current Manna with a five-year contract, which can run till the summer time of 2029.
Manna additionally reportedly has plans for the Napoli dugout and wish to work alongside present Fiorentina coach Vincenzo Italiano based on Wednesday’s updates.
Napoli and De Laurentiis have been left dissatisfied by the work of present sporting director Mauro Meluso, who was appointed after Cristian Giuntoli left for Juventus on the finish of the Scudetto-winning 2022-23 marketing campaign.
And, after a tricky season, which has seen three completely different coaches in Rudi Garcia, Walter Mazzarri and Francesco Calzona, Napoli are ready to make wholesale adjustments to its backroom employees forward of the 2024-25 season.
