Nigeria Beach Soccer League releases calendar for 2025 season

The 2025 Nigeria Beach Soccer League (NBSL) is set to get underway this month (March) as the league released their schedule.

According to a statement on the league website, registration of teams will commence on March 5 to 20.

There will be a refresher course for referees from March 24 to 26.

This will be followed by the First Round of the league from March 31 to April 3 in Kebbi State.

Kaduna State will host the Second Round of the league in June, while Anambra State will stage the third round in August.

This season’s Super Finals will be held in Akwa Ibom state in December.

Six teams participated in the league last season, including debutant Jigawa Golden Star BSC.

In its fifth season, Kebbi BSC won the maiden edition in 2021 while Kada BSC claimed the 2022 trophy.

Kebbi BSC which is the defending champions have won the last two league titles in 2023 and 2024 respectively becoming the first team to retain the title.
