NPFL reschedules Enyimba outstanding games ahead of second stanza opener

By Oyediji Oluwaseun Babatunde

The Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) has rescheduled two of Enyimba FC’s outstanding matches.

The People’s Elephant will face Kano Pillars away from home on Thursday, January 23, 2025.

This will be followed by another away clash against Kwara United in Ilorin on January 27, 2025.

Meanwhile, their Matchday 20 clash with Bendel Insurance has been postponed to clear off their outstanding matches.

Enyimba FC had outstanding games due to their prosecution of CAF Confederation Cup matches.

With their ouster, there is enough time to catch up with other teams, which have played 19 games apiece.

The two-time African champions occupy the seventh position on the NPFL log with 27 points after 17 games.

They have nine points deficit behind leaders, Remo Stars and also have some catch-ups to make with teams like Rivers United, Shooting Stars, Rangers International FC, El Kanemi Warriors, and Ikorodu City FC on the log in a bid to stage a return to the continent.
