Transfer News: Club Brugge sets $25 million asking ice for Raphael Onyedika
By Wale Mustapha
Belgian Jupiler League champions Club Brugge have reportedly set a $25 million asking price for Nigerian midfielder Raphael Onyedika, according to Nigeriafootball.ng.
The 23-year-old has been a key player for the club, impressing both domestically and on the continental stage under manager Nicky Hayen.
Onyedika’s performances have not gone unnoticed, with multiple clubs from the English Premier League and Spanish La Liga showing interest in the Super Eagles midfielder.
Earlier in the year, Club Brugge rejected a substantial offer from Turkish side Galatasaray for the Nigerian star.
The talented midfielder joined Club Brugge from Danish side FC Midtjylland for €9 million, and his value has increased following strong performances in both the league and European competitions.
With the reported asking price of $25 million, Brugge is clearly intent on securing a significant return on their investment should Onyedika depart.
