Onyedika scores, Ejuke, Yusuf fail to shine as Club Brugge silence Royal Antwerp

It was Sunday of mixed fortunes for Nigerian players in the Belgian Jupiler Pro League where Club Brugge defeated Royal Antwerp 3-0 in the championship playoffs.
Raphael Onyedika who is on the card of the winning side, scored the opening goal of the encounter.
The FC Ebedei academy product volleyed home from edge of the box with a minute to end the first half making it his second league goal in 23 appearances for Brugge.
Two other goals came in the second half through Michal Skoras and Philip Zinckernagel.
The duo of Chidera Ejuke and Alhassan Yusuf who started the game for the defending champions could not muster a significant impact to help Antwerp avoid the defeat which has further deepen their chances to retaining the title.
