NPFL: Bayelsa United’s Wisdom Magbisa confident of beating relegation

By Wale Mustapha

Bayelsa United midfielder Wisdom Magbisa has expressed confidence in his team’s ability to avoid relegation in the ongoing Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season.

The Prosperity Boys are currently in the relegation zone, sitting 17th on the league table with 42 points from 34 games.

Despite their precarious position, Magbisa assured the club’s supporters that the team is determined to fight and maintain their NPFL status.

“We have had some difficult moments this season,” Magbisa he told FreekickNaija.

“It’s a bit tight considering our position in the log, but we understand what we need to do to get ourselves out of that position.

“We have to get the job done with the remaining fixtures. It’s going to be difficult, but I am confident we will get all the points needed.”

Bayelsa United recently secured a crucial 3-2 victory over Plateau United at the Samson Siasia Stadium on Sunday. Despite the win, they remain in a dangerous spot on the table.

However, Magbisa’s optimism reflects the team’s resolve to continue fighting for survival in the league.
