Niger Tornadoes Hand Majin Mohammed Three-Game Ultimatum

Niger Tornadoes F.C. technical adviser Majin Mohammed has reportedly been issued a three-match ultimatum by the club’s management following a disappointing run of results in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL).

The Minna-based side have struggled for consistency in the second stanza of the campaign, managing just six points from a possible 24. Their most recent outing ended in a goalless draw at home against Warri Wolves F.C. on Matchday 28.

Currently sitting 12th on the NPFL table with 35 points from 27 matches, the Ikon Allah Boys find themselves in a precarious mid-table position, with pressure mounting to arrest the slide and avoid being dragged into the relegation conversation.

Mohammed’s immediate task will not be straightforward, as Tornadoes are set to face Plateau United F.C., Kano Pillars F.C. and Rivers United F.C. in their next three fixtures.

With the club hierarchy demanding improvement, the coming weeks could prove decisive for Mohammed’s future at the helm as Niger Tornadoes seek to stabilise their campaign.
