Cyriel Dessers makes Rangers’ goal of the month nomination for October

Nigeria international Cyriel Dessers has been nominated for Rangers Goal of the Month for October.
The striker’s goal in Rangers’ 4-0 win against Hibernian which was also his first game under Rangers’ new boss, Philippe Clement.
His right-footed shot from the center of the box to the bottom right corner was assisted by Todd Cantwell.
Dessers started the match to score his second league goal of the season and fourth of the day for the Gers in the Scottish first division.
The 28-year-old was on the pitch for 81 minutes and had five shots in the game, one of which hit the target.
The Ibrox striker has had a stuttering start to his career at Ibrox with supporters yet to take him to their hearts.
The Nigerian has only managed to score four times and provide two assists in 16 appearances and will battle Danilo, James Tavernier, and Abdallah Sima for the coveted accolades.
