Greek-Nigerian winger Joel Ben Anosike joins Sar. Anavyssos on free transfer

Greek-Nigerian winger Joel Ben Anosike has joined Sar. Anavyssos from Aias Salamina on a free transfer, completing the move on 5 September 2026.

The 20-year-old left winger has signed a contract with Sar. Anavyssos until 30 June 2027. Ben Anosike is predominantly a left-sided attacker and favours his right foot.

He arrives after spending the second half of the 2025-26 season with Aias Salamina, having moved there from Amarynthiakos in January. That switch was also completed without a transfer fee.

Ben Anosike made 23 appearances in the Super League U19 competition during the campaign, scoring four goals and providing one assist. He also featured once in the Kypello Amateur, playing 82 minutes.

The move to Sar. Anavyssos represents the latest step in a career that has included spells with several Greek clubs. Before joining Aias Salamina, Ben Anosike spent the opening part of the 2025-26 season at Amarynthiakos, following a free transfer from Kallithea U19 in July 2025.

He had previously joined Kallithea U19 from AO Gyziakos in July 2021, before moving into the senior pathway at the club in July 2024. His recent experience has therefore combined youth and amateur football in Greece, with his latest switch taking him to Sar. Anavyssos for the 2026-27 season.

Born on 24 July 2006, Ben Anosike is listed as 1.81 metres tall and holds Greek and Nigerian nationality. He has been registered as a left winger, giving Sar. Anavyssos a player who can operate on the flank while cutting inside onto his stronger right foot.

The transfer was completed on 5 September, and Ben Anosike’s contract with Sar. Anavyssos runs until 30 June 2027.
