CAF Opens Player Registration for 2026/27 Interclub Competitions, Sets August 6 for Preliminary Draw

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has opened the player registration window for clubs participating in the first preliminary round of the 2026/27 CAF Interclub competitions.

According to CAF, the registration period runs from August 1 to August 15, with participating clubs urged to complete the process before the deadline to ensure their players are eligible for the opening round.

CAF also confirmed that the draw for the preliminary round will be conducted on August 6, determining the opening fixtures in both continental club competitions.

Nigeria will be represented by Rangers International FC and Rivers United in the CAF Champions League, while Shooting Stars SC and El Kanemi Warriors will compete in the CAF Confederation Cup.
