Christy Ucheibe marks landmark 150 games for SL Benfica

Nigeria midfielder, Chrisy Ucheibe celebrated another milestone for Portuguese champions, SL Benfica.

SL Benfica celebrated her 150 games for the club last weekend against Damaiense.

The Super Falcons star joined Benfica in 2020 and has been an integral part of their domestic dominance and consecutive European campaign.

She has won four straight Portuguese women’s league title since joining the team.

Added to this was four straight Taça da Liga trophies.

The former Nasarawa Amazons player has also clinched the Supertaca de Portugal titles.

A key member of Super Falcons since 2022, she represented the country at the 2022 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON), 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup, and women’s football tournament of Paris 2024 Olympics.

She progressed to the senior women’s national team radar after playing at U-20 level.
