Temi Ajibola: Italy-Nigeria forward leaves Flint Town to become a free agent

Italy-Nigeria centre-forward Temi Ajibola has left Flint Town and become a free agent after ending his spell with the Cymru Premier club on 1 September 2026.
The 25-year-old joined Flint Town from Republic of Ireland side Finn Harps on 27 July 2026, moving on a free transfer. His time in Wales lasted just over a month, during which he made six Cymru Premier appearances.
Ajibola started 67% of Flint Town’s possible league matches and played 73% of the available minutes, equating to 392 minutes on the pitch. He did not score or provide an assist, and received one yellow card.
Born in Borgo Val di Taro, Italy, Ajibola holds both Italian and Nigerian nationality. He is listed as a centre-forward and stands 1.95m tall, with his right foot recorded as his preferred foot.
Before moving to Flint Town, Ajibola spent the second half of the 2025-26 season with Finn Harps, having joined the club from German side Idar-Oberstein on 1 January 2026. That move also took place without a transfer fee.
His club career has included spells in Italy, England, Sweden, Germany, the Republic of Ireland and Wales. He began his senior career after leaving Parma’s youth set-up for Lentigione in January 2020, before subsequent moves to Whitchurch, Ramsbottom, Prestwich Heys and Ytterhogdals IK.
Ajibola then joined German club G. Halberstadt in July 2024, followed by his move to Idar-Oberstein a year later. He subsequently switched to Finn Harps before arriving at Flint Town at the start of the 2026-27 campaign.
The forward is now without a club following his departure from Flint Town, bringing his latest move to a close on 1 September 2026.
