Victor Osimhen: Ex-Tottenham boss sees Nigerian as missing link in Chelsea set up

Former Tottenham Hotspur manager, Glen Hoddle as identified Nigeria and Napoli striker, Victor Osimhen as the missing piece to make Chelsea become a more formidable side.
The Blues are still struggling with goal scoring this campaign as it was again reflected in their Tuesday night goaless draw with Liverpool at Stamford Bridge, seeing the club has scored only 29 goals in the Premier League this season, which is their worst return at this stage in a league campaign since 1979.
Osimhen has being in an excellent form for Napoli this season, scoring 25 goals in 29 appearances and coasting home to win the top scorer gong in Serie A.
The former Chelsea handler is urging the club’s hierarchy to strife by securing the services of Super Eagles’ forward, stressing that the 24-year-old is the only player Chelsea needed to complete the club’s strength.
“You need someone who you think is going to score 20 goals for you, a fox in the box, someone who wants to be in that area where they’re creating so much,” Hoddle told Premier League Magazine Show.
“But that’s the only player I think they need – they’ve got everything else. Without a doubt, he’s number one, but there are a few clubs after him. But if you put him in a Chelsea shirt, he will score a load of goals.”
PSG and Manchester United are other clubs considered to be interested in Osimhen and the Blues are still in market to employ a new manager following the sack of Graham Potter few days ago.
