NPFL: Austin Onyemaechi ecstatic over dream debut for Enyimba

Austin Onyemaechi is living the dream after marking his memorable debut for Enyimba FC with a winning goal.

The 21-year-old forward scored the decisive goal in Enyimba’s 1-0 victory over Akwa United in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) at the Enyimba International Stadium in Aba.

Onyemaechi, who joined the club from Enugu Rangers at the start of the season, expressed his pride in playing for what he considers the best team in the country.

“First and foremost, I thank God for coming to Enyimba. It’s my dream to play for Enyimba, who are the biggest team in the NPFL,” he said.

The striker, who netted the game-winner with 12 minutes left, is optimistic about his future with the club.

“I’m very happy to make my debut and score my first goal for the club. I believe more will come with the support of my teammates and coaches,” Onyemaechi added.
