NPFL: Duke Osimaga tags Akwa United clash as must win for Rivers United

Rivers United midfielder Duke Osimaga has declared that his side will be going all out for the three points when they take on Akwa United on Sunday.
The Pride of Rivers will host the Promise Keepers in the Matchday Five fixture of the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) at the Adokiye Amiesimeka Stadium in Port Harcourt.
Osimaga, who has been impressed with his team’s strong start to the new season, promised fans an exciting performance as they aim to maintain their momentum. He emphasized the importance of winning the game to move to the top of the league table.
“It’s a must-win game for us,” Osimaga said.
“If we win, we’ll top the league. We just need to win the game, and the fans should expect 100% from me. Akwa United is my former team, and I won’t let them down.”
He urged fans to come out and support the team, adding, “They’ve lost two games, and I know they’ll come all out to get at least a point, but we must beat them. This is a double home game for us, and we need these points more than anything to take the top spot.”
