“I’m very happy with him” — Okocha delighted with Alex Iwobi’s progress in EPL

Nigerian football icon Austin “Jay-Jay” Okocha has expressed his delight with the progress of Alex Iwobi at Fulham this season.

Iwobi, 28, has emerged as one of Fulham’s key players in the ongoing English Premier League (EPL) campaign.

The midfielder has been in impressive form, contributing seven goals and three assists for Marco Silva’s side, marking his most prolific season in the English top-flight since his debut for Arsenal a decade ago.

“I am very happy with him (Iwobi) and his progress,” Okocha told Lagos-based Talks FM, referring to his nephew.

The former Everton player has featured in all 22 of Fulham’s Premier League matches this season, showcasing his consistency and importance to the team.
