Batshuayi unperturbed over Osimhen’s competition at Galatasaray

Belgian striker Michy Batshuayi has expressed his confidence in the Galatasaray squad despite the competition posed by new forward Victor Osimhen.

Osimhen recently joined the Turkish giants on a season-long loan from Napoli after a failed permanent move.

Batshuayi welcomed Osimhen’s addition, highlighting the positive impact the trio of forwards can have on the team.

“There are three great forwards; all three of us are here to contribute to Galatasaray,” he stated. “Of course, the important thing here is the victories that Galatasaray will win.”

He emphasized the unity within the squad, saying, “We have all found harmony together, and we need to carry Galatasaray towards victories.”

Currently, Galatasaray sits atop the Turkish Super Lig table with 15 points from five games.

The team is set to face their fierce rivals, Fenerbahçe, in an anticipated match on Saturday, September 21. Batshuayi’s focus remains clear: working together to achieve success for the club.
