Daniel Job: Nigeria winger joins Dallas from Kongsvinger for €4.5m
Nigeria winger Daniel Job has joined Dallas from Norwegian side Kongsvinger for €4.5m, completing a move to Major League Soccer on 2 September 2026.
The 21-year-old left winger has signed a contract with Dallas running until 30 June 2030. Job arrives in the United States after a productive spell in Norway, where he made 19 appearances in the 2026 OBOS-ligaen season, scoring seven goals and providing seven assists.
Job also registered an assist in his only NM-Cup appearance for Kongsvinger. He started 90% of the club’s league matches and played 88% of the available minutes, contributing to 26% of Kongsvinger’s league goals during the campaign.
The move takes Job from Norway’s second tier to MLS, with Dallas paying a fee that is more than four times the winger’s listed market value of €1m. His arrival gives the club a young wide player who operates on the left and prefers his right foot.
Job joined Kongsvinger from Sarpsborg 08 on 6 February 2026 in a free transfer. He had previously spent part of the 2024-25 season on loan at Egersund, returning to Sarpsborg before later changing clubs.
His time at Sarpsborg followed an earlier loan spell with the club from Future PA, before he made the move there permanently in July 2024. Those earlier spells preceded his breakthrough campaign with Kongsvinger, where his attacking output helped establish the basis for the move to the MLS.
Job’s transfer also marks a step up in competition after he played exclusively in Norwegian domestic competitions during the recorded 2026 campaign. He now moves into the Dallas squad with a long-term contract and a substantial transfer fee attached to his arrival.
The Nigeria international, who stands 1.74m tall, completes his switch from Kongsvinger to Dallas and will remain with the MLS club until June 2030.
