Ifeoluwa Adewale Olowoporoku: Nigerian teenager joins IFK Goteborg from Tripple 44 FC

Nigerian attacking midfielder Ifeoluwa Adewale Olowoporoku has joined Swedish side IFK Goteborg from Tripple 44 FC in a completed move to the Allsvenskan club. The 18-year-old, who was born in Gbekuba and stands at 1.70m, links up with Goteborg as he makes the step from Nigerian football into Sweden’s top flight.
Olowoporoku’s transfer was finalised on 15 July 2026, coinciding with his 18th birthday, and sees him move directly from Tripple 44 FC to the historic Gothenburg club. The deal marks his first move to a European team, with IFK Goteborg securing a player whose main position is in attacking midfield.
Having developed at Tripple 44 FC, Olowoporoku has come through in a role behind the forwards, operating centrally as a creative midfielder. His switch to IFK Goteborg places him in a club with a long tradition in Swedish football and regular involvement in the Allsvenskan.
Olowoporoku is registered with IFK Goteborg both at club level and for national competition purposes, underlining that the move represents a full integration into the Swedish side’s set-up rather than a temporary arrangement. There is no publicly stated end date to his contract.
The Nigerian youth’s arrival from Tripple 44 FC to IFK Goteborg is confirmed as a completed transfer for the 2026–27 season.
