Nasarawa Amazons chairman, Hajiya Husaina Suleiman has praised the technical crew of the club following the impressive results in the Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) Premiership.
The Lafia Landladies have recorded two wins and a draw in three matches in the league this season and Hajiya Husaina believes her side should have gotten at least a goal against Dannaz Ladies.
She further revealed that the club recruited 19 players during the summer following the heavy departure of players from the club, heaping praises on the club’s coaches for stabilizing.
“We thank God, everybody saw the match. In fact, we would have scored but the reality that God has destined, we will take it as he did it but we are grateful,” she told Nigeriafootball.ng exclusively.
“God has his own way of doing things, most of the players that left were replaced with younger players, you have seen them. We recruited about 19 players for this season.
“Most of the players are even at home and have not started showing up. Coaches are doing a very good job and you can see what’s going on, all the matches that we have played, I’m impressed about it.
“I’m happy with our present form, we played away in our first game, we won, we played , won and it was luck that was against us, we would have scored two goals.”
Nasarawa Amazons will welcome Abia Angels in their next encounter in Lafia on Wednesday, December 6.
