Osimhen and Nnadozie share top spot in Nigeria’s FC 27 ratings
Victor Osimhen and Chiamaka Nnadozie are the joint highest-rated Nigerian players in EA Sports FC 27, with both awarded an overall rating of 85.
EA Sports has published its latest player ratings ahead of the game’s launch, giving Nigerian fans an assessment of how the country’s leading men’s and women’s footballers will appear in the new edition.
For the first time, there is no single player at the top of Nigeria’s combined rankings. Osimhen, the Galatasaray striker, and Nnadozie, the Super Falcons goalkeeper, have both been given an 85 Overall (OVR) rating.
EA’s official Nigeria ratings page places Nnadozie first and Osimhen second, despite their identical scores. Atletico Madrid forward Ademola Lookman is the country’s third-highest-rated player, with an OVR of 83.
Nnadozie’s rating is one of the most notable features of the FC 27 rankings. The goalkeeper moved from Paris FC to Brighton & Hove Albion last summer and has retained her 85 OVR rating in the new game.
Her card stands out in several technical areas. EA has given Nnadozie 87 pace, 88 dribbling, 84 physicality and 63 defending. Her dribbling score is higher than Osimhen’s 78, although goalkeeper attributes are assessed differently from those of outfield players.
The figures help explain why Nnadozie remains one of the highest-rated female goalkeepers in FC 27.
Osimhen remains the highest-rated Nigerian men’s player, although his score has fallen by two points compared with FC 26. He was rated 87 OVR in the previous game but has been given 85 this time.
The Galatasaray forward’s new card includes 89 pace, 84 shooting, 78 dribbling and 86 physicality. His pace has also declined from the 92 he received in FC 26, but he is still among Nigeria’s quickest high-rated attacking players.
Osimhen’s 86 physicality is the best figure among Nigeria’s top three players and should make him a particularly difficult striker to contain in Ultimate Team. His overall attributes continue to make him one of the most dangerous Nigerian attackers available in the game.
Lookman’s 83 OVR places him two points behind Osimhen and Nnadozie. The Atletico Madrid forward has 86 pace, 83 shooting, 73 passing and 84 dribbling, making him an appealing choice for players seeking an agile Nigerian attacker.
He has dropped one point from his FC 26 rating of 84.
There is a clear gap between Nigeria’s leading three players and the rest of the rankings. Atletico Madrid midfielder Rasheedat Ajibade is next on 81 OVR, while Jennifer Echegini, Gift Monday and Alex Iwobi have all been given ratings of 80.
Ajibade is the highest-rated Nigerian player outside the top three and the highest-rated Nigerian female outfield player. Her card features 87 pace, 79 shooting, 73 passing and 85 dribbling.
The midfielder’s combination of pace and dribbling makes her one of the most technically gifted Nigerian players in FC 27.
Echegini and Gift Monday both have an OVR of 80, while Asisat Oshoala is not included in FC 27. Her Saudi Arabian club, Al-Hilal, is not part of the officially licensed leagues featured in the game.
The official EA database confirms the ratings and shows a significant drop-off after Nigeria’s top seven players.
