Osimhen leads Nigeria’s top-rated players in EA Sports FC 27
Victor Osimhen is the highest-rated Nigerian player in EA Sports FC 27, with the striker given an overall score of 85 by EA Sports.
The Galatasaray forward is rated two points above Ademola Lookman, who has an 83 rating, and five ahead of Alex Iwobi, who completes the top three on 80.
The ratings provide a clear ranking of Nigeria’s leading men’s players in the latest edition of the game, with several established Super Eagles internationals featuring prominently.
Osimhen’s 85 rating puts him in a category of his own among the Nigerian players included on EA Sports’ list. He has developed a reputation as one of the country’s premier attacking talents after building his career in major European leagues, including spells with Napoli and Galatasaray.
His overall score gives him a two-point advantage over Lookman, meaning there is a clear gap at the top of the Nigerian rankings. In a game where small differences in ratings can separate players of a similar level, Osimhen’s position at number one is significant.
Lookman is second with a rating of 83. The Atletico de Madrid forward has strengthened his reputation in European football since moving into the Italian game, with his performances at Atalanta helping establish him as one of Nigeria’s most important attacking players.
His score leaves him within touching distance of Osimhen while placing him comfortably ahead of the rest of the list. The rating also underlines Lookman’s status as one of the country’s elite players in FC 27.
Iwobi occupies third place on 80. The midfielder came through the Arsenal academy before going on to play for Everton and Fulham in the Premier League. He has remained a regular member of Nigeria’s senior set-up.
His rating is three points below Lookman and five behind Osimhen. Iwobi is also the only Nigerian men’s midfielder to feature in the 80-plus section of EA Sports’ rankings.
Ola Aina is the highest-rated defender, with an overall score of 79. The Nottingham Forest player has also represented Chelsea and Torino during a career spent in both England and Italy, while becoming a familiar figure in the Super Eagles squad.
Aina’s rating places him one point behind Iwobi and one ahead of the next group. His fourth-place position shows that Nigeria’s strongest FC 27 ratings are not limited to attacking players.
Five players share 78 rating
Calvin Bassey leads a group of four players with an overall score of 78 and is listed in fifth place in EA Sports’ published order. The Fulham centre-back developed through English and Scottish football before moving to the Netherlands, where his profile grew during his time at Ajax.
Nathan Tella is also rated 78. The winger made his name in English football before joining Bayer Leverkusen in Germany. His career has included a Bundesliga title-winning campaign and appearances in leading European club competitions.
Raphael Onyedika takes seventh place, also with 78. The midfielder developed in Denmark before moving to Club Brugge in Belgium, and his progress has earned him a place in the Super Eagles picture.
Samuel Chukwueze completes the four-player group on 78 and is ranked eighth. He became a prominent figure at Villarreal after progressing through the club’s youth system. His pace and direct style have made him a familiar presence for Nigeria in major international matches.
Paul Onuachu is next on 77, placing him just outside the 78-rated group. The striker has played in Belgium, England and Turkey, while his height and goalscoring record give Nigeria a different kind of attacking option.
Moses Simon completes the top 10 with a rating of 76. The winger has spent much of his European career in France and has been a long-standing member of the Super Eagles squad.
Several other Nigerian players also have a 76 rating, including Victor Boniface, Maduka Okoye, Umar Sadiq and Chidera Ejuke. Simon is ranked 10th in EA Sports’ published order, leaving him three points behind Onuachu and nine below Osimhen.
