Nigeria defender, Semi Ajayi scored his second goal of the season for English Championship side, West Bromwich Albion as the team earned a 3-1 win against Hull City on Saturday.

With two wins from the previous three games including a 0-0 draw with Plymouth, the hosts needed to maintain the moment which they did in the opening 15 minutes.

Jed Wallace put them ahead in the 14th minute at the Hawthorns.

With four minutes to the end of the first half Coyle equalised for the travelers.

Scottish midfielder, Matt Philips however, restored the lead for West Brom in the second half.

Ajayi sealed the win with his side’s third goal in the 71st minute as he played the full 90 minutes.

The win extended West Brom’s unbeaten run to four games and moved the team into the playoff positions.

With 26 points after 15 games, West Brom occupy the fifth position.

The club will next fave Southampton on November 11, 2023.
