Wilfred Ndidi shared a video of him and his Leicester City teammate Stephy Mavididi bantering each other as Nigeria set for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) final on Sunday.
Ndidi was among the players called for the tournament but unfortunately had to pull out due to injury.
However, the Leicester City midfielder follows all the actions while cheering his teammates for glory.
He was captured bantering his teammate Stephy Mavididi, who is originally from DR Congo but plays for England.
In an attempt to get at the Nigerian, Mavididi called the Super Eagles “embarrassing” for their entry dance moves; “No rhythm, nothing, embarrassing.”
However, Ndidi responded with a banger only a true Nigerian could think of; “DR Congo, who were better dancers, danced their way to the third-place match instead of the final.”
The video posted on his IG stories was captioned “this one is using dance to console himself.”
Nigeria will take on hosts Cote d’Ivoire in the final of the AFCON on Sunday.
