Fiorentina interested in Werder Bremen winger Justin Njinmah

German-Nigerian winger Justin Njinmah is being linked with a move from Werder Bremen to Fiorentina, with the Serie A club reportedly considering a deal for the 25-year-old.

Njinmah has a current market value of €5m and is regarded as a possible target for Fiorentina as they assess options for their attack. The rumour has been assigned a 47% probability, with no transfer fee or agreement reported.

The right winger has made 84 Bundesliga appearances for Werder Bremen, scoring 14 goals and providing six assists. He joined the club’s senior set-up in January 2022 before spending the second half of that season on loan with Borussia Dortmund II. He returned to Bremen at the end of the 2022-23 campaign.

Njinmah’s Bundesliga record includes 3,933 minutes of playing time, with a goal every 281 minutes. His earlier record in Germany’s third tier was stronger, with 18 goals and seven assists in 50 appearances.

The player was born in Hamburg and holds German and Nigerian nationality. He developed in the Hamburg area before joining Werder Bremen II from Holstein Kiel II in July 2021.

Fiorentina’s interest remains at the rumour stage, while Njinmah continues to be registered as a Werder Bremen player.
