Primate Elijah Ayodele, Leader of one of the leading houses of God in Nigeria, INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church has advised Super Eagles’ striker, Victor Osimhen not to join English club, Chelsea this summer.
Osimhen is primed to leave Napoli this summer haven requested to end his relationship with the Italian side.
A number of clubs in Europe and Saudi Arabia have been asking for his services including PSG, Bayern Munich and Chelsea.
The Blues have emerged as one of the frontrunners to land the Nigerian striker and are reportedly ready to include two players in any potential deal.
Primate Ayodele has however predicted that Osimhen may have a dip in career should he end up joining Chelsea.
“I want to quickly advise as directed, that Osimhen should not go to Chelsea because if he goes there, he will not shine and it will kill his career,” the clergyman said in a video posted on ESPN’s X account.
“NFF, if Osimhen should go to Chelsea, don’t call him again, and also calling him to the Super Eagles still needs to be previewed properly because we have what it takes to win the World Cup and Nations Cup.”
