Moses Simon suffers fresh injury in preseason match for Nantes

Nigeria winger Moses Simon is facing a fresh injury concern as the new season approaches.
The Super Eagles forward had earlier sustained an injury while on international duty in March, which caused him to miss the remainder of the campaign.
Simon has since returned to full fitness and has been impressive for the Canaries in pre-season.
His amazing skills has seen him scoring twice in just two games, a performances that had fans hopeful for a strong season ahead.
The 28-year-old’s pre-season form culminated in scoring the winning goal in the Canaries’ 2-1 victory over Laval on Saturday night.
However, Nantes manager Antoine Kombouare revealed after the clash with Laval that Simon is battling with an ankle problem which he said has become a big concern for the club.
Kombouare expressed his regret over Simon’s injury, saying, “I only regret that Moses Simon is struggling with his ankle, the extent of the injury is yet to be determined, but fans will be hoping for a speedy recovery for the talented winger,” he said.
Nantes are expected to start new Ligue 1 season on August 18th against Toulouse and their fans will be hoping Simon recover on time before the date.
