Nosa Edward Obaretin: Napoli defender linked with Sturm Graz move

Italian-Nigerian centre-back Nosa Edward Obaretin is the subject of a reported transfer link between Napoli and Austrian Bundesliga club Sturm Graz.

Obaretin, 23, is currently contracted to Napoli, who compete in Serie A, while Sturm Graz are understood to be the club being linked with a move for the defender. The potential switch would take him from Italy’s top flight to Austria’s Bundesliga.

The centre-back’s current contract with Napoli runs until 30 June 2027, meaning any deal would take place before its expiry rather than as a free transfer. His listed market value is €1.5m.

There is no indication that the move has been completed, and the rumour remains at the link stage. No transfer fee or agreement between the clubs has been reported.

Obaretin’s profile identifies him as holding Italian and Nigerian nationality. He remains a Napoli player while speculation continues over a possible move to Sturm Graz.
