NPFL: Enugu Rangers return to winning ways against Bayelsa United

Holders, Rangers International returned to winning ways after last weekend’s 2-1 loss to Remo Stars with a 1-0 win against Bayelsa United in matchday three rescheduled game in Enugu on Thursday.
Isaac Saviour’s 75th-minute goal ensured that the Flying Antelopes secured their second win of the season in the league and first on home soil at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium.
Fidelis Ilechukwu’s side occupy the seventh position with seven points after four games.
They will welcome Abia Warriors in their next league match on October 6, 2024.
Ladan Bosso’s side, on the other hand, is without a win after four games, as the team sits in the 17th position with two points.
They face a huge task away from home against Nasarawa United on October 6.
Nasarawa United last weekend edged Ikorodu City FC 2-1 in Lagos and will be high in confidence.
