Nigerian forward, Samuel Chukwueze, silenced critics with his debut goal in the Italian Serie A.

AC Milan asserted dominance with a resounding 3-1 victory over Verona, maintaining their second position on the league table.

Chukwueze entered the fray in the 74th minute before finding the back of the net just five minutes later.

Theo Hernandez initiated the scoring with a composed finish before the halftime whistle.

American player Christian Pulisic doubled Milan’s advantage with a simple tap-in goal in the 50th minute.

Verona’s Noslin pulled one back in the 64th minute, but it wasn’t enough to salvage points for the home side.

Chukwueze, the Super Eagles forward, couldn’t contain his excitement as he secured Milan’s third goal of the game.

With this victory, the Rossoneri sit comfortably in second place on the Serie A table with 62 points from 29 matches, trailing league leaders Inter Milan by 14 points.
