Van Spor FK sign Nigerian winger Tenton Yenne on loan from Baltika
Nigeria winger Tenton Yenne has joined Van Spor FK from Russian club Baltika on loan, adding a two-time Armenian Cup winner to the Turkish 1. Lig side’s squad.
The 26-year-old left winger’s move was completed on 4 September 2026, with the agreement running until 30 June 2027. Yenne made the switch after beginning the 2026-27 campaign with Baltika, where he featured in three matches across the Russian Cup and Premier Liga.
Yenne played twice in the Russian Cup and once in the Premier Liga before moving to Turkey. He did not score or provide an assist in those appearances, recording 75 minutes in the cup competition and 21 minutes in the league.
Born in Jos, Nigeria, Yenne is a right-footed attacker who operates primarily from the left flank. He stands 1.78m tall and developed his early career in Slovakia, moving between Trencin Under-19s, GBS Academy, FK Senica and MSK Zilina B.
He joined Armenian side SC Noravank in February 2022 before moving to Ararat-Armenia in July of the same year. Yenne spent three years with Ararat-Armenia and was part of the side that won the Armenian Cup in the 2023-24 season. He also won the Armenian First League Player of the Year award that campaign.
Yenne left Ararat-Armenia for Baltika on a free transfer in July 2025. His time in Russia has now been interrupted by the loan move to Van Spor, who compete in Turkey’s second tier, the 1. Lig.
The transfer gives Van Spor a player with experience in Armenian and Russian football, while Yenne begins another chapter after winning domestic honours in Armenia and earning regular involvement in Baltika’s current campaign.
His loan spell at Van Spor FK is contracted to run until 30 June 2027.
