Victor Olatunji linked with SK Beveren move from Salt Lake
Nigerian centre-forward Victor Olatunji, now listed with SK Beveren, is linked with a move to the Belgian club from Salt Lake.
The proposed switch would take the 26-year-old from Major League Soccer to Belgium’s Jupiler Pro League. Olatunji’s move to SK Beveren is recorded as a loan transfer dated 3 September 2026, with the arrangement due to run until 30 June 2027.
The striker has a market value of €2m and is contracted to Salt Lake beyond the current campaign. His most recent spell in MLS produced five goals in 25 appearances, with Olatunji playing 1,032 minutes.
Olatunji joined Salt Lake from Sparta Prague in August 2025 for a reported €2.15m. During his time with the Czech club, he helped win the Czech title and the Czech Cup in the 2023-24 season.
He has also played in European competition, making 15 Europa League appearances and eight in the Champions League, scoring twice in the latter. Across 63 appearances in the Czech top flight, he scored 14 goals and provided three assists.
The 1.93m forward began his senior career in Nigeria before moving to Europe and has since played in Cyprus, Slovakia, Austria and the United States. He is listed as a right-footed centre-forward and remains tied to Salt Lake until the end of the loan period.
